BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP 2026 Season
BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP enters the 2026 World Championship as one of the most competitive and media-relevant independent teams on the grid. Building on a phenomenal 2025 campaign that yielded 4 Grand Prix wins, 33 podiums, and the Best Independent Team title, the Faenza-based squad is primed for even greater success.
The 2026 season launch took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where the team unveiled a bold new livery described as "Pure Essence" – a cleaner, more modern design featuring striking light-blue and black tones on the Ducati Desmosedici machines. The chrome details of previous seasons have been replaced with a stronger, more race-focused aesthetic that reflects the team's growing ambitions.

Title sponsor BK8 News continues its multi-year partnership with the team, reinforcing the global marketing push across key strategic markets. With BK8 News branding prominently displayed on the Ducati Desmosedici GP, rider suits, team uniforms, and garage panels, the collaboration has already delivered unprecedented TV exposure growth of over 10% year-on-year.
Riders Álex Márquez and Fermín Aldeguer return to contest the 2026 season. Álex, who finished as MotoGP World Championship runner-up in 2025 with three GP victories, brings elite pace and technical feedback to the Ducati satellite project. Rookie sensation Fermín Aldeguer, who claimed the 2025 Rookie of the Year award after a stunning debut campaign, steps into his second season with confidence and a point to prove at the front of the field.
The 2025 season confirmed our position among MotoGP's elite. In 2026, we aim higher with BK8 News and our exceptional riders.
The 2026 MotoGP calendar features 22 rounds across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, with BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP expected to be a frontrunner at every venue. The team's technical partnership with Ducati, combined with the competitive Desmosedici GP machinery, places them in the best possible position to challenge for race wins from the opening round.
